BBC Radio 6 Music Festival


Featuring more than 30 artists and DJs across 3 stages, the BBC Radio 6 Music Festival brings together an inspiring line up of artists with an alternative spirit.

The line-up ranges from major established acts, to potential future stars, this music festival truly reflects the wide range of artists that you can hear on BBC Radio 6 Music every day. Some of the main acts performing are Damon Albarn, The Horrors, Midlake, Kelis, HAIM and Jake Bugg, with DJ sets from Groove Armada, Mary Anne Hobbs, Mr. Scruff, Tim Burgess and many more.

The Festival takes place at the Victoria Warehouse in Manchester, just across the water from MediaCityUK, home to many of BBC Radio 6 Music’s shows.

The festival features two stages of live acts and a silent disco DJ stage. Doors open for the evening event at around 4pm, and the event will finish at around midnight on both days.

BBC Radio 6 presenters will be broadcasting live from 1pm until midnight on both days, bringing you all the sets, interviews with some of the artists, surprises and behind the scenes action to the comfort of your own home.

You’ll also be able to watch the festival as it happens on the BBC Radio 6 Music website, so you won’t have to miss a note.
