Following on from last weekend’s incredible show with So Solid Crew, Bongo’s Bingo
are very proud to announce their next special guest event at The Albert Hall in
Manchester, with Boyzlife touching down on Friday 12th May.
In just two raucous years Bongo’s Bingo has become a pivotal part of the country’s
cultural landscape, with wild scenes taking place each night across the UK as the team
move from city to city. It’s fast becoming a true phenomenon, one which has already reshaped
how people go out and perhaps most importantly bringing back a sense of
unadulterated fun and escapism to nights out.
The very special guests are Irish duo Boyzlife, continuing the heritage of booking iconic
stars to perform at special select events. Boyzlife’s performances are packed full of
Westlife and Boyzone hits not yet performed by Brian and Keith together, as well as
many favourites from the previous tour – and a few surprises too. The duo combined to
thrilling effect at Bongo’s Bingo’s 2nd birthday weekend recently in Liverpool, and will be
bringing their magic to the Albert Hall for the very first time.
The action is presided over by the legend himself, Jonny Bongo. It’s true that Bongo’s
Bingo has to be seen to be believed – the show mixes the traditional elements of bingo
with dance-offs, rave intervals, plenty of heckling, audience participation, endless hands in-the-air
anthems and of course winning prizes too, from Henry Hoovers to actual cold
hard cash. It’s a sublimely chaotic experience, and predictably unpredictable – no two
shows are ever the same, yet there’s a familiar thread of distilled mayhem orchestrated by
Jonny, with magic running through each and every Bongo’s Bingo.
Organiser Joshua Burke says: “We just had So Solid Crew at The Albert Hall and it was
one of our craziest shows, with the stunning venue itself holding court for some true UK
music icons. And now we super happy to announce next up in Manchester it’s Boyzlife!
When we had them at our 2nd birthday recently they transformed the night into a proper
gig, with everyone crammed at the front to watch the guys in action! We have got a great
feeling for this show already, and can’t wait to have the guys perform at Bongo’s Bingo.”
