We all want the best for our children, and as competition for schools and universities becomes greater, extra tuition is becoming more, and more, popular. Extra tuition provides parents with an opportunity to supplement traditional classroom education, and gives children a helping hand to reach their potential, boosts exam results, and prepares them for the future.

The Learning Factor launches inside Asda Eastlands in conjunction with Pearson Primary, conveniently located for busy parents. The Learning Factor offers group maths and English tuition for children aged 4-11 years old, combining digital tools with traditional teaching methods (part book/part computer, 40/60) as well as using programmes well-known in schools, such as The Maths Factor and Bug Club.

Staff at The Learning Factor have the expertise and resources to create programs tailored to improve your child’s  maths and English goals and abilities, whilst also working alongside the National Curriculum. The maths tuition is rigorous so whether your child is struggling with mental arithmetic or those tricky decimals or confusing fractions, they will improve in ability and confidence.

Carol Vorderman, ambassador for Maths Factor says, “Each session starts with a video lesson from me, followed by a fun warm up and then practice, practice and more practice. Tuition gives children a helping hand to reach their potential.”

The English tuition utilises the Bug Club, used by over 5,000 schools nationwide, with both online and print books which are highly interactive, engaging and most importantly children love reading with. As part of your child’s learning session, they will also engage with other children in the Activate Area. Children can choose fun activities to do such as acting or team games in an effort to foster creativity, and engage young minds on multiple levels. To finish off their Learning Factor session, iCards are earned for good behaviour and achievement, encouraging children to move up The Learning Tree.

Charlotte Thomas, Education Director, from The Learning Factor says: “It can be a daunting process finding extra tuition for your child but The Learning Factor offers you an affordable option and one that you can have complete confidence in. No matter what stage your child is in at school, our talented staff will tailor sessions specifically for them. So whether they just need a boost in confidence or more intense tuition, we can help. We’re delighted to open the doors to members of the public in June, 2016.”

Extra tuition doesn’t have to mean costly private tuition. The Learning Factor offer a free taster lesson so whenever you’re next in Eastlands stop by to find out more about this exciting new tuition company.

Membership packages are available from £14 per week.
