Sarah Millican, Gary Delaney, Adam Bloom, Tez Ilyas and Hayley Ellis will be bringing their unique comic genius to the Comedy Store on 13 March, for Shake with Laughter, raising funds for leading charity Parkinson’s UK.

Shake with Laughter is a series of comedy evenings that began in London, and the Manchester gig – the third to take place in the region,  is the brainchild of fellow comedian Mick Ferry, who was inspired to create his own Northern version as his father lives with Parkinson’s.

Mick Ferry, who will MC the evening, explains:

Last year was another sell out success for Shake with Laughter. Jason Manford, Alun Cochrane, Kiri Pritchard McLean, Jonathan Mayor and Harriet Dyer put on a side-splitting show.

‘I’m going to do it all over again with some hilarious comedy pals to help me.  I’m particularly excited that Sarah Millican enjoyed taking part so much in the first Shake with Laughter Manchester that she is coming back to do it all over again.

“Let’s make Shake with Laughter Manchester a sell-out for a third year running. Every ticket sold supports people like my dad and everyone affected by Parkinson’s”

The evening starts at 8:00

Tickets are available at £17, from the Comedy store

Every hour, someone in the UK is told they have Parkinson’s.

It affects 127,000 people in the UK – which is around one in 500 of the population.

Parkinson’s is a degenerative neurological condition, for which there currently is no cure. The main symptoms of the condition are tremor, slowness of movement and rigidity.

Parkinson’s UK is the UK’s leading charity supporting those with the condition. Its mission is to find a cure and improve life for everyone affected by Parkinson’s through cutting edge research, information, support and campaigning.
