Sync for pink with The Printworks

Lip sync battle to the held at The Printworks in aid of Breast Cancer Care.
Leisure and entertainment complex The Printworks is hosting a charity lip-syncing challenge with celebrity favourite Faye Brookes as star judge, as well as Capital radio presenter Adam Brown also joining the panel.
Taking place in the pumpyard on Saturday 13th May, Sync for Pink will raise vital funds for Breast Cancer Care. The event will pit entrants aged 12 and over against each other in what could be the performance of their lives, in order to win a host of Printworks prizes, totalling over £300 and a top prize . Both individuals and groups of up to 4 can enter, with just a £5 charity donation as the fee.
Members of the audience will also be asked to make donations in return for a token, which will then be used to cast a vote for their best act.
The judging panel, which will be headed up by Coronation Street star Faye Brookes, will be there to supply feedback after each performance, and ultimately crown the winner chosen from the lucky entrants who make the final three.
Fred Booth, Centre Director at The Printworks, said “Lip sync performances are so popular at the moment, and we thought it would be the perfect activity for a charity fundraising day! We can’t wait to welcome everyone into the centre and to see the talent of Manchester, as well as raising some much needed funds for a brilliant charity.”
“Sarah Herrett, Community Fundraising Manager for the North & Midlands at Breast Cancer Care, said: “We are thrilled that The Printworks have chosen to support Breast Cancer Care with this fantastic event, and are so grateful to them for fundraising on our behalf. The money raised will go towards ensuring that Breast Cancer Care can continue to offer vital care, support and information to women with breast cancer, and their families and friends.”
The event will start at 12pm, entrants can sign up here where they will then be taken through to the Just Giving page to donate £5 as the entry fee.
